Alpha Elektrotechnik develops, produces and distributes disconnecting switches for middle and high voltage, plus accessories. With its long experience gained in 70 years of activity Alpha Elektrotechnik additionally launched the development and production of cables for traction in 1999. Certified with ISO 9001 since 1994, Alpha Elektrotechnik sub-contracts the majority of its components, whereas the essential operations (final assembly, tests, certificates...) are carried out in Nidau, Switzerland.

Its products are distributed in Switzerland as well as abroad, where they deliver powerful answers to technical and economic requirements. Thanks to its divisions of provisioning, the company is able to enter markets of all sizes. The capacity of delivery reaches 800 disconnectors a year.
More than 45.000 disconnectors produced by Alpha Elektrotechnik are in service nowadays; by adding those manufactured under license, this number amounts to 75.000. The company is situated in the heart of the Jurassic Arc, within 30km of the federal capital, in an unique area which is famous for its know-how in microtechnics.
Alpha counts about thirty highly qualified employees, thus offering the flexibility of a small structure... however with the capacities to deal with great enterprises!
